Blessings
So much, so fast.
Well that cliff hanger at the end of my last post has been out there long enough. The big news is this: Sam and Carol (Dixie's parents (my wife)) have decided that living close to grandkids is pretty important to them. To that end, they have put a contract on a house in our neighborhood and will be moving to Misipi very soon. We are thrilled to have them here. It's a great blessing for kids to know and have a good relationship with their grandparents. I think it's an even greater blessing for parents of young children to have a set of parents near by to help when needed. It will be nice that they will be able to babysit some and come to soccer games and basketball games and ballet and choir concerts and band concerts and all that stuff.
Good times.
We had a nice Easter. We had a family easter egg hunt in the back yard amongst our gardens. We have two big flower gardens out back and a couple gardens in the front as well. Everything is in full bloom and Dixie is loving having these fresh roses, daisies, honeysuckle, and a bunch of other flowers around.
The egg hunt was cute. We got some great pictures. The boys had a great time. Jaylie just enjoyed being outside. She loves it.
Tried to post egg hunt pics but blogger is sucking. I'll be moving to my own domain soon...

We had already got wind of that news down here. Is there anybody else from NS that you are going to take to Mississippi with you? :o) Not too surprised at all! They were so wrapped up with those cute kids of yours, I figured it was only a matter of time. Of course, we thought it would be longer than 2 months! Your yard looks beautiful. I am glad you and Dixie are settling in so well. Blessings!
Saw the pictures Dixie sent out. Tina shared them with me. Those babies are getting so big and Isaac is so handsome. Glad to know you guys are getting some backup.
Love your backyard. I really like the birdhouses. Have a great day!
