Music, anyone?

WOW. Check out Pandora. It is a free unlimited customizable streaming music experience you won't want to miss. You type in a song or artist you like and it plays various music that you will probably like based on your preferences. As you listen you tell it if you like or don't like the songs it is playing and it continues to customize the music it plays to your tastes. It's very cool.

For instance, type in....oh, I don't know, "Michael Buble" and you'll get all kinds of crooners and jazz that is pretty good. Provide a little more feedback and it will really start zeroing in on your musical tastes.

You can also build certain radio stations that are basically customized collections of certain genres that you continue to build as you listen.

If you hear a song you love, you can link directly to amazon to buy the CD or to iTunes to download it to your machine. Very cool!

As I said, it is a free service, although you will see some ads. To eliminate the ads they have a subscription service as well, but I don't really mind the ads.

Enjoy, music lovers.

Eric,
I'm trying to get the Meadowbrook blog functioning again. Jerry and Jeff R. started it last year, but it's been dormant. Please check out my first post, and let me know what you think about the concept, it's potential uses and the substance. I think we can have lots of good times with this.

Eric - Found your blog from your comment at MB's blog. Notice that you're reading Blue Like Jazz. I just finished it a few weeks ago myself. Great book. I've made a few posts about it at my blog, too.

Looking forward to having you with us!

Jeff.
