Stop reading this and go outside!
Man what a great day outside. It's about 72 and sunny, with a pretty good breeze. It's just perfect! Isaac and I have been playing outside for about 4 hours. We played soccer, hide and go seek, had popsicles, and played on the swingset. We also went exploring in the woods behind our house. We saw about 25 deer and found about 5 golf balls. There's a small par 3 course beyond the woods out back so balls occasionally make their way into the woods.
We had a blast. After Ethan and Jaylie woke up Dixie brought them outside too. Sundays used to be so busy, but we've started having our LIFE group on Saturday nights, which means Sunday afternoons are just family time. It works really well for us, with nap times and getting ready for Monday morning.
It sure is nice to see the changing of the seasons and be reminded that God is a pretty good creator. He has done marvelous things!

OOOO. LIFE group at night! I like it, very Catholic-ish, but I like it! Is it legal though?
Dixie has asked us before about LIFE group and I tried, but Billy was a NO. He said it is because he doesn't like to rush around on Sunday. That is our only family day since he works on Sat. What time is yours? I wonder if he would go on Sat. night? If you guys wouldn't mind? Let me know what time you meet, please?!
I guess Dixie already emailed you back, but yeah we meet on Sat night at 5:30, but we don't really get started until 6 or so. We'd love to have y'all. I hope you guys can come and check it out.

I am glad to hear that you are able to rest on the Lord's Day! So many churches seem to forget that we are commanded to rest on the Sabbath. They plan lunches, meetings, and more services to keep you busy all day long. We have been blessed to be part of a denomination that emphasizes keeping the Sabbath and does not schedule anything after morning worship. It is refreshing to know that you are doing that too!
"For six days you shall labor and on the seventh you shall rest."
As for the weather, well, our Sunday high was 42 degrees and rainy. No playing outside for us!
