Prayer for peace

This is a prayer I journaled while at the Zoe conference. It still rings very true in my life. I'm only sharing it with you because I hope after you read this, you'll take 60 seconds to pray for peace and guidance in your own life, and also in mine. I'm still waiting on a few answers, and I hope your prayers will help.

Lord,
Show me where to go. Put your will into my lap. I'm so lost and confused; I need your clear guidance. Be my staff. Be my shepherd. I know you are and you will be. Let me find your peace. Use me Lord; I am your creation. Don't let me think that my will is my own. I submit to you. Use me Lord. Show me what. Show me where. Show me how.

Amen

I'll pray for you.

That's really a difficult prayer to pray. Submitting to His will rather than our own is no small thing.

When we ask for God's will instead of our own we may be in for a shock. It may be that He will shake us into action where we've never been before, or His will may be to stay where we are, stay the course because that is where He wants us. God may use a quiet voice, or a book, or his word, or someone in our family or church to relay His will. I hope that when He speaks we all hear and obey. He does move in mysterious ways, and His ways are not our ways. May He be ever praised!!
